This is the nicest Best Western! The architecture of the building, along with the courtyard layout, make it an exceptional place to stay. Our room had a balcony looking out to the courtyard with a view of the mountains, and I enjoyed the view every morning with my coffee. The room was spacious, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Also, it was very easy to navigate Carp and Santa Barbara/Goleta from the hotel's location.
What makes my stay so peaceful and enjoyable year after year is the tranquility of the courtyard with the fountain. It’s a great place to relax and unwind. The staff go out of their way to ensure you are a welcomed guest.
We were in the Santa Barbara area for 4 nights to attend a family wedding. We stayed at the Best Western Carpinteria Inn, and it was a very picturesque hotel with the Spanish architecture and lush greenery and flowers around the building. Our room was clean and very comfortable. For meals, if we weren't attending a dinner in Santa Barbara, we ate at the hotel's Sunset Grille and the food and service were excellent! We would definitely stay at the Carpinteria again in the future!
